Staking
Stake eUSD and earn a fixed APR, paid in eUSD. Stake $MONEY in its own vault and earn a fixed APR in $MONEY. There is nothing to lock and nothing to wait for: stake and unstake are instant, 24/7.

APR and cap are set by governance with setApr and setCap; the values above are the onchain configuration on 1 November 2026. The app shows the live APR, the cap, and how long the reward reserve lasts.
How it works
Each vault is an ERC-4626 vault: you deposit the asset and receive shares (seUSD or sMONEY). Rewards drip from a pre-funded reward reserve into the staked assets every second, so each share is worth more over time. Your shares never change in number; their value grows. Rewards compound whenever anyone touches the vault.
The drip is set by one rule:
Rewards per year = APR × min(total staked, cap)
- Up to the cap, every staker earns the full APR.
- Above the cap, the same budget is shared by everyone, so the APR is diluted to
APR × cap / total staked. For example, with 200,000 eUSD staked against a 100,000 cap, the seUSD APR is 16% × 100,000 / 200,000 = 8%. - Deposits are never limited by the cap; it only sets where the APR starts to dilute. Governance raises the cap as eUSD grows.
The reward reserve
Rewards are paid from the reserve, never from other stakers' principal.
- Funding. The protocol treasury tops up each reserve from its income: 2 points of the 8% stability fee go to eUSD stakers, and $MONEY fees fund $MONEY staking. Anyone can also add rewards with
fund(amount). - If it runs dry, the drip pauses and the APR shows 0% until it is topped up. Staked principal is untouched and can be withdrawn at any time.
- Unspent rewards can be taken back out by governance with
withdrawReserve, which can only touch the reserve that has not yet dripped, never staked assets.
Example
You stake 10,000 eUSD while 60,000 eUSD is staked in total (below the cap). At 16% you earn about 4.4 eUSD a day, 1,600 eUSD over a year, and unstake 11,600 eUSD whenever you like.

The earlier eUSD staking (OwnStakingV2, SPY rewards with a $MONEY boost) is winding down, and the app no longer offers new stakes there. Its last reward period ends on Friday 6 November 2026 at 07:07 UTC. Unstake from own.money/stake/v1; see Moving from v1.
